The UK AI Community is pleased to announce the Fourth UK AI Conference 2026, which will be held in Nottingham, UK, from Tuesday, 29 September 2026 to Wednesday, 30 September 2026 at The Hilton Nottingham. We are delighted to continue bringing together researchers from across the UK to advance the national research on Artificial Intelligence. The conference will feature full-paper talks and poster presentations.

Submissions are now closed. Accepted full papers should prepare camera-ready versions for PMLR. See the section below.

Accepted full papers will be published in the Proceedings of Machine Learning Research (PMLR). Please submit your camera-ready version by 4 September 2026 (18:59 UK time) via OpenReview.

Original call (for reference)

This year, we invited two types of submissions:

Full Papers: for researchers wishing to give a talk and have their work published in the Proceedings of Machine Learning Research (PMLR) as part of the conference proceedings.

Abstracts: for poster presentations at the conference.

This event will allow researchers nationwide to share work on all aspects of AI, from theory and development to application and real-world implementation. Topics include, but are not limited to:

Reciprocal Reviewing Requirement

Submissions of full papers were required to nominate one author to assist with the peer review of submitted works. Nominated reviewers were asked to review up to three papers.
